Our Story

Starting in 2010 Brad has been roasting coffee, Fresh coffee. While completing my bachelor’s degree, and working full time. Living on coffee, it kept me going. Buying a five pound bag of pre-roasted coffee from my favorite local roaster seemed like a great idea to check all of my boxes complete. The end of that 5 pound bag started tasting stale and more like grocery store chain, big box coffee.

I started roasting my own coffee to fix this problem. My first roaster was a Popcorn popper from the local thrift store. The popper could roast 1.5 ounce at a time. Fresh coffee was achievable, but it was messy and took so much time!

5 Roasters and 15 years later, Brad, the bald bean roaster has been developing an understanding or practice of coffee. I even roast coffee from all around the world. I have had the privilege to enjoy coffee on 3 different continents, and roasting from 27 different countries.
